Inkscape Tutorial: Clipping Images to Shapes and Text

I drew quite a bit of inspiration from the famous Brisbane sign in Southbank. As you may well know, Event Elves is a Brisbane-based company serving local and inter-state clients.

In this post, I will show you how to easily clip any background image into any shape. Below are the following freely available resources used in this tutorial:

In the video below, we will cover a couple of examples on how to do this. The first example is a simple one, to help you understand the basic steps behind it.
